Monday's Gift #1: Such An Easter Gift

Since I am still veiled by the atmosphere of Easter, the banner design of Monday's Gift becomes like that :D
Under this column, I will share about bookish gifts I have received gratefully (almost all were from winning giveaways).

Last week, on Saturday, I received a package consisted of four books, from winning a giveaway held by Ariansyah on his blog, ABOokadict. There, he offered 8 books of his collection, from which the participant could choose 4 of them. I was not expecting that I would win, I just tried to answer his question as best as I could. It was a really long time after the giveaway deadline had passed, that he finally (suddenly) announced who the winnner is. This book package became a kind of Easter gift for me :D

These are the books:

1. Kilah, by Vinca Callista
I have put Seruak in my favourite shelf. (Seruak is one of psychothriller novel written by Vinc, and the first book of hers that I've ever read.) So, Kilah is quite intriguing to me, since it's also a psychothriller novel and the front cover's illustration is so great. Ouch, I have read Kilah yesterday, and I put rating of 3 on Goodreads.

2. Perfection, by Farrahnanda
This is one of YARN (Young Adult Realistic Novel) series published by Ice Cube. I have never read this series before, and I know the writer personally , so I want to read it and maybe I can ask her for signing this book.

3. Happily Ever After, by Winna Efendi
When I was in high school, I have read one of her book, Kenangan Abu-abu, which then is republished under new title: Remember When. I wanna try her other books, and Happily Ever After seems a perfect choice for me, because some book reviewers that I know gave it positive reviews.

4. Little Bee, by Chris Cleave
The synopsis on Goodreads gave me a clue what this book is about, which made me want to read it. It is about a Nigerian refugee (woman) and her adventure in England.

Have you received a book gift recently? ;)
